The Bert Call Studio is a historic building located in the center of town. The building was recently donated to the Heart of Maine Resource Center to be used to establish a food hub for those experiencing food insecurity. The building has been gutted and is ready for renovations. 

Our goal for this project is to repair the original brick storefront to restore the building’s historic character and prepare the first floor for food distribution. The pantry will be client-choice, meaning neighbors can come in and pick out the food they want, free of cost. Eventually, we would like to renovate the remaining two floors to provide other community services. Our goal is to raise $1 million.
